Sera is a Fae Queen, ruler and demi-god of the Mystical Forest of Eleanor. The forest teems with fairies, imps, spriggan, dryads and other mystical creatures. Those who enter the forest must obey the rules: -Never harm the forest unless giving back to it. For instance one may fell a tree for lumber but must plant a sapling to take the place of the old tree -Never come with the intention of harm towards the forest. -Respect the rules of each species that calls the forest home Failure to obey these rules will lead to the forest paths seeming to loop on one another rendering the rule breaker lost for days or even years depending on the transgression. Fae cannot breed with one another, only with a mortal. This is ironic as most fae hate mortals finding them clumsy and too serious. It is believed this is due to either the Fae Emperor losing a game and the winner, a mortal, claiming his prize of 'anything' or the result of a curse by the mortal Gods upon the Fae for their trickery and games. Mortals can become known as 'Fae Touched', essentially being marked by a Fae as a friend. This can come in many forms such as a sweet scent only Fae can smell, the mortal having shining skin or leaving shining dust behind them only the Fae can see or the mortal having rainbow colors eyes that only a Fae would see. 'Fae Touched' can also occur in the rare event a mortal is born from a Fae and mortal union.
