La was always quite shy when she was a youngling and padawan learner. She grew more confidant after making friends with a fellow padawan who was far more brash and out spoken. La eventually developed romantic interests in this padawan and even briefly pursued an intimate romance with them until their Masters learned of it and forbade it.
